We are very concerned about the security of your account and your funds, and have a few optional restrictions activated by default, which allow us to keep your funds safe.
One of this flow - whitelisting flow. It works only when you have activated custody - you can find more about custody in this article.
How it works:
As we mentioned earlier, whitelisting flow is activated by default. It contains two parts - wallet address whitelisting and IP address whitelisting. Both of them are optional and can be disabled on your request - but we do not recommend you to do this, unless your workflow requires it (a casino flow from our use cases, for example).
Ip address whitelisting - the first line of defense designed to protect your funds from unauthorized withdrawals. It's very simple to interact with - in this section you can add ip addresses you want to provide access for withdrawal creation.
You can add and remove ip addresses any time you want
If you want to remove ip address whitelisting entirely, you can click on "all funds are secured" and "request to disable" in the pop-up window. It will redirect you to your email program with a preset text message. All you need to do - just click 'Send'!
Wallet address whitelisting - the second line of defense in this row. If a payout address is not whitelisted, your payout will receive failed status and won't be processed until the payout address is whitelisted. Don't worry, your funds are safe, and there are two options you can do in this case:
- you can request a wallet whitelist and confirm a payout continuation;
- you can request payout rejection (funds will return to your balance).
To prevent such cases, we strongly recommend you whitelist your wallet address before you request a payout. You can do it in this section - just fill the form and send it! Or use .csv template if you want to whitelist several addresses simultaneously. Usually it takes up to 24-48 hours to whitelist an address/addresses.
You will be able to see all your current requests and statuses in this section too
Statuses for your requests:
- Pending - request in process
- Requested - we received your request and already working on it
- Whitelisted - request fulfilled
And this whitelisting can be disabled as well - just hit "send request" in the same section - it will redirect you to your email program with preset text message.
Estimated time for fulfilling whitelisting requests.
Please keep in mind - whitelisting disable is a technical procedure, and such requests can be fulfilled within 2 business days. Support team can't speed up such requests, since they don't have an access to this process. Please don't worry - you will be notified by email when the procedure is finished!
Please be sure request was sent from your registration email - for security purposes we accept requests only from registration emails. This point is also valid for accounts with Multiuser feature enabled - you can't request wallet address whitelisting or whitelisting disable from your sub accounts.
To prevent any mistakes while sending such requests, please use special forms mentioned above.
